They were trailing with 29 points, while Longhorns running high with 39. However, Wildcats snatched the lead and moved up with a 20-point margin in the second half. Notably, this win over Texas turned out to be twofold for Tyler Perry as this was his 11th 20-point game of the season. He achieved this feat while being a constant force on the court with his fierce moves.
Kansas State’s leading scorer Tyler Perry has been averaging 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. Moreover, he has been shooting with a field goal percentage of 36.1%. Similarly, Cam Carter’s scorecard has been booming with 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 39.7% (a level up than Perry’s).
Off the bench, one of the key players on Kansas State’s roster David N’Guessan scored 13 points, 6 rebounds, and an assist. He has averaged in the regular season with 7.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game, with a field goal shooting percentage of 58.9%.

Wildcats bounced back today, avenging their 62-56 defeat in February at the hands of Longhorns. Now, with one game away from the Big 12 title, it is important to analyze their opponents.
Things coming down to the wire for Wildcats
Kansas State is set to lock horns again with Iowa State but with a different and grand agenda of clinching the Big 12 conference title. And, if they do, then it will be their second consecutive Big 12 victory. During this season, both teams faced off for the first time in January and Wildcats had to eat dust with a 78-67 defeat.

It was the first half they fell short of, only to have a super thin 1-point lead in the second half. As a result, the team couldn’t run enough to score better at the time. However, Wildcats bounced back in the recent game last week where they thrashed Iowa State with a 65-58 victory.
With tomorrow’s matchup being highly anticipated, it will be too early to tell which team will lift the conference title, however, Wildcats do have a proximity to rally it through.
