Julian Reese and Jahmir Young played an instrumental role in securing Maryland’s significant victory, making Angel proud.

In a recent reposted tweet on X, Angel Reese showered her love for her brother. The post was titled – “Julian Reese (@Reese10Julian) is the only @bigten men’s player in the last 20 seasons to go for at least 20/10/4/3 while shooting at least 80%.

Julian Reese proved to be a force to be reckoned with across the court. He scored 22 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals, with a field goal percentage of 82.4. In a recent matchup against UMBC, Julian scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, reigning the court. His ability to hoop, rebound, and block makes him a versatile asset to the Terrapins.

On the other hand, Jahmir Young also made a significant contribution of 22 points to Maryland’s victory. He has been an impactful contributor to the team’s success. Against UMBC, Young’s 20-point score played a crucial role in delivering Maryland a 92-68 win.

It was the Terps’ first 100-point game since 2021, and their first against a Division I opponent since 2018. The matchup ended up being Maryland’s 15th win on their home winning streak, with a sheer display of strength and skill.

Last season, Julian was named among the 2023 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. Started 33 out of 34 games, he also led his team with 42 blocks and added 34 assists and 27 steals.

He scored 14 points with 6-out-of-10 made shots against Alabama in the NCAA Tournament second round. He hooped 17 points and 9 rebounds and grabbed a win over West Virginia in the NCAA Tournament first round.
