The 2024 WNBA Draft is going to be a spectacle. Fans are eager to see which team has the chance to grab the best college basketball prospects. The decision to declare eligibility or stay for another year still rests in the hands of these talented NCAA athletes. One among them is Stephen Curry’s Godsister who’s yet to make up her mind.

After UConn’s Paige Bueckers withdraws herself from the upcoming draft, one of the other top three picks is having a hard time deciding how she wants to approach her next year. This indecisive state is already becoming fodder for imagination.

The impactful No.22 of the Stanford Cardinals–Cameron Brink–recently interacted with her followers on the Maples Pavilion’s basketball court. Holding a mic in her hand, Brink went on and said, “I’m sure all of you are wondering as far as my decision to stay next year or enter the draft is still undecided.” Consequently, these words were met with a roar along with some applause. In addition to this, the people present there started to chant, “One more year, One more Year.” This surreal moment made Cameron emotional and she wasted no time in extending her appreciation to her followers with a “Thank You.”

Soon after, Cameron’s mother Michelle Bain-Brink decided to share a video of this moment on her story. Moreover, she tagged the Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry‘s mother Sonya Curry as well. Seemingly, her story was captioned, “@sacurry22 we both were like what.”

Anyhow, if Cameron does decide to stay for another year, she is expected to hugely benefit from the NIL sphere.

It is no secret that these young college basketball stars earn a massive part of their income through their NIL deals. It would appear that Brink is no different. As per her latest valuation on On3, the 2021 NCAA champion is sitting pretty on $232,000 worth of NIL deals. Interestingly, this number gives a fair bit of competition to some big earners in the WNBA. Evidently, Indian Fever’s explosive shooting guard Erica Wheeler draws the league’s highest salary of roughly $242,154. Undeniably, another year with the Cardinals will surely result in an increment in Brink’s NIL worth.

Whether to stay or not, it’s entirely Cameron Brink’s decision. Although, her friends and teammates will be delighted to see her in action in Cardinals jersey for another year. Moreover, head coach Tara VanDerveer will also be glad if she gets a chance to coach her for another season.
