Born in April 2002 and with a family history in basketball, Fulwiley showed early signs of her interest in the sport. To take her game to the next level, she joined W.J. Keenan High School. However, behind her impressive ball-handling skills and scoring ability is her father, who served as a mentor and a coach for the young prodigy. Her father helped her with the fundamentals of the game and played a crucial role in making her the player she is today.

During her time as a senior athlete at a High School, she averaged an impressive 25.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 6.4 steals per game. Shining at offense, defense, and teamwork, Fulwiley was the kind of player that everyone wanted on her team, but nobody wanted to play against. With her impeccable basketball prowess, she became an all-time leading scorer and led her team to a 23-1 record. But this is not just it. At just 5 feet and 7 inches, she also started dunking, leaving the spectators in shock.

The University of South Carolina’s legendary head coach, Dawn Staley recognized her talent at an early age and offered her a scholarship while she was just in the seventh grade calling her a rare “Generational talent.”

In November last year, Fulwiley committed to the Gamecocks as she wanted to stay close to her home and the people who supported her throughout her journey. She earlier received offers from several recognized programs like North Carolina, Tennessee, and many more. But now, Fulwiley will be playing under the guidance of Coach Staley, who is manufacturing another A’ja Wilson and beside talents like Kamillan Cardoso, Raven Johnson, and Sania Feagin.
