The NCAA women’s division has seen a sudden rise in viewership after LSU’s victory over Iowa last season. While the men’s division continues to attract spectators it is the sudden rise in viewership within the women’s game that has many individuals puzzled as the division continues to grow day by day. With the women’s basketball matchups seeing a 72% increase in viewership since 2022 it is safe to say that it won’t be long before women’s basketball becomes as popular as the men’s in the collegiate field.

A big part of this growing popularity is also down to collegiate stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese as the two were able to mesmerize many with their intense rivalry during last year’s Finals match up. While Caitlin has long been endorsed for her talents throughout her career it is the meteoric rise of LSU’s Angel Reese that has attracted newer audiences to the sport. Recently raising awareness for breast cancer through her latest launch, ‘Bayou Barbie’ continues her ascent to the top as she looks to build her brand beyond her $1 million valuation.
