Holmgren is currently in his senior year at Minnehaha Academy and there are plenty of college programs that are seeking his service! About seven universities are interested in recruiting the versatile big-man, but he is yet to make a decision about his future.
Holmgren earned massive acclaim when he attended Steph Curry’s ‘SC30 Select Camp’ in 2019. The seven-footer showcased his incredible skills against the three-time champion and left him awe-struck with his talent. People started hyping Holmgren after he dropped Curry on the floor using his own move against him!
“When you do get the chance, you know, you never want to just be scared or back down. I just wanted to show what I could do and you want to play against the best,” Holmgren reminisced about the moment in a recent chat with BBC Sport.

“Dwyane Wade gave me a shoutout on Twitter. I was pretty geeked. So that was like, one of the first high-profile NBA guys that kind of took notice of me. To have it to be D-Wade, you know you are kind of starting at the top,” Holmgren expressed.
