This year’s NCAA tournament has opened the doors for many female hoopers. Several senior players are among the hot picks in this season’s WNBA drafts, with Iowa’s most celebrated No. 22, Caitlin Clark, receiving additional attention. Clark has gained monetary support outside the WNBA’s jurisdiction, but time is money for the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer. And this take was further analyzed by Fox Sports Radio, involving popular broadcast duo Steve Covino and Rich Davis.

Speaking on Caitlin Clark, Covino and Davis laid more emphasis on her current demand. In the recent episode of Fox Sports Radio’s new daily show, they were spotted drawing comparisons between Clark and Jason Kelce’s upcoming opportunities. “Caitlin Clark should take every opportunity put in front of her over the next couple of months,” Davis said.

Following this, Covino joined in and added that Ciatlin would also be a part of other leagues apart from the WNBA, such as the Big Three. In a spontaneous response, Davis explained, “Whoever is throwing millions at her, take it. Do anything that’s going to give you money, Caitlin Clark. Because while you have talent and you will make millions on endorsements, if you think Indiana Fever will have the same buzz as Iowa, you’re mistaken.”

Caitlin Clark glues millions at the NCAA Finals

The epic Finale to this year’s NCAA tournament has set a new benchmark for the broadcasting and coverage of women’s college basketball. If we believe ESPN PR, a whopping total of 18.7 million people tuned in to watch the games. Furthermore, this number peaked at 24 million one time, which eventually bested the men’s title game viewership.

This was the first time in NCAA history that a difference of 4 million was recorded. Considering this elevation, 36 of Indiana’s 40 games will now be broadcast all over the country next season. Significantly, Caitlin Clark was able to transcend every boundary, proving her legacy at Iowa.
