Tahaad Pettiford commits to Auburn
Tahaad Pettiford, a five-star guard from Hudson Catholic High School in New Jersey, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Tigers in the upcoming season. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect committed to the Tigers back in February. Ira Bowman, a New Jersey native and assistant to coach Bruce Pearl since 2018, was his primary recruiter.
Pettiford, a combo guard from the left side, is known for his relentless attacking style when it comes to the ball. He’s swift, quick, and has a lot of pace to his game, which puts constant pressure on opposing opponents.

On the defensive end of the court, he’s equally aggressive with his approach, using his length, speed, and sly attitude to have one of the greatest theft percentages in the EYBL with 2.5/game.
