LSU WBB’s mastermind, Kim Mulkey, has always been under a wide microscope. However, following her Washington Post controversy, the focus has been zoomed in. However, what seemed to be a red room of horror got a ray of bright sunlight. Did you know that before winning four NCAA Division I Tournaments as a coach, the now 61-year-old Hall of Famer grabbed the very first championship in the NCAA WBB history? That too against the basketball legend known for her consecutive National Title wins at USC, Cheryl Miller.
A basketball follower recently posted a video montage of Kim Mulkey as a college player at Louisiana Tech. The clips show the point guard going against Miller to make some swift assists and impressive baskets. While the X user says he is not a fan of the LSU Coach, he confessed that it is hard to not watch her play on a loop. The user captioned the post saying, “Since Kim Mulkey is the topic of convo this am.”

Another X user simply asked if the women’s basketball has stopped advancing. Certainly, the 80s was an insane time for the NCAA WBB. However, there is no denying that today’s team can surely show the 80’s teams a thing or two about competition.
Meanwhile, a bunch of people were just busy comparing Mulkey’s looks to other people.
