Indiana had no answer on either side of the floor. Their offense could rack up only 53 points in the loss as big names didn’t deliver. Their leading scorer, Jackson-Davis, scored just 10 points in the loss. That comes short of his season average of 18 points per game. Johnson also tallied 11 points. No other Hoosier players crossed double digits as they took a blowout loss in the first round against the Sait Mary’s Gaels.
The Gaels were at their best as Logan Johnson led the way for them. He racked up 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in the stellar win. Four of their starters crossed the 10 point threshold and saw themselves get the win. Tommy Kuhse came in huge as well amassing 19 points and 6 assists in the 82-53 win.
