Jared McCain made his debut on the hardwood for the Blue Devils on November 7th, 2023, in a huge opening win against Dartmouth. Since then, he has made an impactful contribution to the team. However, his best form came tonight against the Seminoles. Apart from some clever trick shots, the FIBA Americas Under-18 gold medalist equaled Zion Williamson with 35 points. Along with this, he also made a record for most 3-pointers by a Duke freshman by bagging 8 3-pt.

Along with Jared, senior guard of the Blue Devils — Jeremy Roach — also made 17 points against the Florida State Seminoles.
