LSU Head Coach addresses concerns on Angel Reese

The LSU Lady Tigers conducted their first formal practice inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Centre on Monday. Their head coach, Kim Mulky, cleared the air over the performance of Angel Resse as she said, “Your concern is: Is Angel Resse hungry?”

She also added that Angel Reese is making money in a crazy way, but when she sat down with her for a talk post-summer break, she was clear about the mindset of playing basketball and made it clear that her championship hunger is still alive.

“When I sat down with Angel and talked with her about her summer, and then we talked about her being here, she said, ‘Coach, I’m tired. I’m so glad to be back. I’m ready to play basketball,'” said Kim Mulky about Reese.

The speech was shared by the Louisiana sportscaster Jacques Doucet on her Twitter account. She shared the video clip along with the caption “Is Angel Reese hungry? She’s making money like crazy. To add fuel to the fire, ESPN published its mock draft for 2024, where Reese fell to 8th place. Even NBA stars such as Charles Barkley have raised concerns over NIL policies as they may affect the athletic nature of college players.
