Both teams have lost one game each, with the Badgers having won 7 while the Spartans have won 6. The Spartans were one of the best teams in the country, but fell to a shock loss at the hand of Northwestern University. The Badgers have been consistently good all season, except a shock loss at the hands of the Marquette Golden Eagles. This is easily their toughest test yet, and the same goes for the Spartans.
But which one of these teams will manage to emerge victorious in this highly anticipated clash?

NCAA Men’s Basketball: Can the Spartans pull this off?
The Wisconsin Badgers could have very well been undefeated right now if they didn’t fall to that close loss to the Golden Eagles. The same can’t be said for the Spartans, who were beaten quite handily by Northwestern University. But that doesn’t make one team worse than the other, they are quite well-matched. They aren’t far apart in the AP Top 25 either.

The Spartans can be expected to take the floor with Joey Hauser, Joshua Langford, Rocket Watts, Thomas Kithier, and Aaron Henry. Meanwhile, the Badgers will line up with Aleem Ford, Nate Reuvers, D’Mitrik Trice, Brad Davison, and Micah Potter.

The Badgers have momentum on their side right now. The team is on a four-game winning streak, and their only loss could have gone either way. The Spartans are definitely rattled after their last loss, but may have the better-rounded team. This is one of the most even matchups of the NCAA season.
The Spartans cannot afford to lose yet another conference game. However, the Badgers are the worst possible team they could have run into heading into a match like this. As a result, we predict the Spartans to lose their second consecutive game to the Badgers. While they will be out for revenge, this game may not be the one where they get it.
