NCAA Men’s Basketball action will pit two ranked teams up against each other on an action-packed Saturday slate. We open the night with a rematch between the Michigan Wolverines and the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25, but the Wolverines are making a push for the top-five, while Minnesota is struggling to stay in the mix.
The Golden Gophers had a very hard schedule leading into this game. They lost their last two to Michigan and the Iowa Hawkeyes. A loss here would definitely send Minnesota out of the rankings and make them fall to a three-game losing streak.

The Golden Gophers are coming to avenge their loss from last week, even if the Wolverines are the hottest team in the country. Coach Juwan Howard has done a fantastic job in getting this team to be as dominant as they have. With center Hunter Dickinson playing like an NCAA superstar, this team is very hard to stop.
This game will be away from home for Michigan and Minnesota are currently undefeated at home. However, they are taking back the negative momentum from their recent road trip, which saw them go 1-3 in four games.

The Wolverines will start the game with Eli Brooks, Mike Smith, Franz Wagner, Isaiah Livers, and Hunter Dickinson. Meanwhile, the Golden Gophers will start Marcus Carr, Both Gach, Gabe Kalscheur, Brandon Johnson, and Liam Robbins.
For our prediction, we stick with Michigan. Despite Minnesota having the ability to beat any team on a good shooting night, especially at home, we go with the hot streak that Michigan is on. Minnesota needs to get their wits about themselves, and that isn’t something you can do against this Wolverines team.
