NCAA Men’s Basketball often sees many mismatches across its schedule. However, genuine heavyweight matchups are also there to been seen. While the Big 10 Conference has provided most of them this season, we will see two teams ranked atop the AP Poll do battle when the #2 Baylor Bears face the #6 Kansas Jayhawks.
The Bears have had an easy schedule, but have stepped up against top teams like the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. They are 12-0 this season.

The Jayhawks have lost to teams like the #1 Gonzaga Bulldogs and higher-ranked teams like the Texas Longhorns. However, they will be coming off a shock loss at the hands of the Oklahoma State Cowboys led by Cade Cunningham. Kansas sits at 10-3 this season.
So can the Jayhawks find their momentum back with a season-defining win? Or are the Bears going to continue steamrolling over their opposition?

Considering the loss that the Jayhawks are coming off, it can be easy to move past them. However, this game is in Texas and that will bode well for them. Along with that, they are coming off five days of rest while Baylor had a hard win just a day ago.
Kansas have a hard time shooting consistently from outside the three-point line. Meanwhile, the Bears are elite both offensively and defensively. They lead the Big 12 in both offense and defense this season.

The Bears will start the game with Jared Butler, Davion Mitchell, MaCio Teague, Mark Vital, and Flo Thamba. Meanwhile, the Jayhawks will start with Ochai Abgaji, Marcus Garrett, Christian Braun, Jalen Wilson, and David McCormack.
For our prediction, we are going with an upset. This is the best opportunity for Kansas to steal a win over the Bears. WHile it will be a herculean task, we are taking the risky pick for this game to end the Bears unbeaten streak.
