The Duke Blue Devils are having an odd season. While they aren’t struggling to the extent of some other teams, they have definitely had a slow start to their season. But they will be looking to get a strong win when they go up against the Miami Hurricanes.
The Blue Devils have started their season 7-5. They are currently on a 2-game win streak over opponents like the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Clemson Tigers. While they aren’t long removed from their loss to the Louisville Cardinals, safe to say they look back on track.

The Hurricanes have struggled all season long. They have a poor record of 6-10 and are currently on a 4-game losing streak. Their last win was funnily enough against the team that last beat Duke.
But will this be a regulation Duke win, or will this be another upset in a poor season?
Duke Blue Devils: Adding to their win streak?
While the Blue Devils are having a tough season, they are still second in the ACC. However, they will need to keep stacking more conference wins to build on this position. Their young core is finally finding chemistry with each other and playing better under Coach K’s tried and tested system.
The Hurricanes are coming into this game, already depleted. Star player Isaiah Wong has missed time with injury, and an injury to Matt Cross will further handicap the team for this game.

However, they do have enough talent to possibly trump the Blue Devils in this game. With Wong on the floor, they will be hoping they can pull something off.
The Duke Blue Devils will be starting the game with Jordan Goldwire, Jalen Johnson, DJ Steward, Wendell Moore Jr., and Matthew Hurt.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes will be starting with Isaiah Wong, Harlond Beverly, Kameron McGusty, Anthony Walker, and Deng Gak.
For our prediction, we go with the best bet, Duke. They have way too much talent for this Hurricanes squad to overcome and will promptly ride this game into a 3-game winning streak.
