For the Bulldogs, the key player will be their guard JerKaila Jordan. Jordan has been the alpha for her team, basketing a spectacular 17.1 points per game. But that does not mean she has ignored the defense.

On the back end of the court, Jordan has nabbed 6.3 rebounds per match and also played selfless at times supporting the team with 2.5 assists per contest. If the Bulldogs are to make a difference, then Jordan will have to be in full flow.

On the other hand, the Lady Tigers will rest their hopes on their star Angel Reese. Reese has been the highest points contributor in the LSU’s campaign. She has potted 19.6 points per match with 11.9 rebounds per match.

Head to Head

As per the official Mississippi State website, the LSU have a 50-15 tally against the Bulldogs and an astounding 20-8 record at Starkville. Going into the game, the LSU will be the favorites and it will not be a surprise if the LSU are able to continue their brilliant run against the Bulldogs.

The LSU will be keen to recover from their previous loss against the South Carolina Gamecocks and script a good win.

Prediction

The match is at the Mississippi State’s home court but the Lady Tigers have more chances of winning the game. It remains to be seen what strategy will their head coach Kim Mulkey adopt.

But going by the performance of the LSU this season and how they narrowly missed the mark during their contest against the Gamecocks, the stage is set for Angel Reese & Co. to dominate the game.
