The NIL rankings have had more to and fro than a usual basketball match. LeBron James‘s son Bryce James is currently sitting atop the NIL basketball high school rankings with an evaluation of $1.2 million. He was previously behind Cooper Flagg who had an NIl of $1.4 million. However, an unavoidable step from Flagg got Bryce the top spot in high school rankings.

Flagg notably committed to the Duke Blue Devils in the class of 2024, and thus he changed his NIL ranking place from high school to college. This brought Bryce to the top. But now as he remained unmoved another star took up the ranking spot.

Dylan Raiola trumps Bryce James

Dylan Raiola moved ahead of Bryce in the NIL rankings. Raiola had an NIL 955K and suddenly took a leap to $1.2 million as he gained $245K. Though it is not publicly known what caused an increase in NIL, it might be attributed to his social media following and the ability to resonate with the sport’s fans.

Raiola is ranked at the 14th spot in NIL 100 whereas in college football rankings Raiola occupies the 11th spot. He has around 80K followers on the social media networking platform Instagram and 42K followers on X. Two of his major NIL deals were with EA Sports and Panini America.

For the unversed, Raiola is the son of the former football star Dominic Raiola. Thus like Bryce, he too knows the tricks of the trade from his father and might have imbibed a few of them that propelled him to rise at the same place as Bryce.

Meanwhile, Bryce is stationed at the 15th spot in the overall NIL rankings. But he can breathe a sigh of relief since his high school rank is numero uno even now, and perhaps he can work harder during the high school season to give the impetus to his ranking and jump with a good NIL. Maybe that can also give him a spot above Raiola. But can Bryce really make it?

Can Bryce James get back his spot?

Bryce’s NIL in June has remained constant though there has been a lot of coast-to-coast in his rankings. He currently has a whopping 1.9 million followers on Instagram and 15.1K fans on X. Thus, he can leverage the media attention to his benefit while competing for highly coveted NIL ranking spots.

It is a surprise to note that Flau’jae Johnson, Julian Lewis, and Hansel Emmanuel all have an NIL valuation of $1.2 million. Maybe Bryce can with an increase in his valuation also gain the 13th spot and trump exceptional players like Johnson. For that, the coming months will be crucial since the James family is constantly under the scrutiny of the media.

Plus, Bryce’s choice of college can also improve or give a setback to his NIL. Currently, as per ON3, there are a lot of chances that Bryce might commit to the Ohio State. perhaps, his elder brother Bronny James’s experience will come in handy while deciding the college.

In this range of possibilities, all Bryce needs to do is work hard and not be disappointed with the new rankings. Instead, take it as a lesson, consult the Chosen One, improve on his game, and make a comeback with equal force.
