Turning heads with her swift moves on the court, MiLaysia Fulwiley has been an astonishing NCAA discovery this past season. She joined forces with the South Carolina Gamecocks and they made it rain on the court, becoming the only unbeaten team throughout the season. She helped her team to the National Championship. However, she is not the only one in her family making an impact in South Carolina as a freshman. Her sister, Jameesia Ford, is a star in the making on the track and the siblings’ impact was awarded at the Gamecock gala last night.

Fans are chiming in with blessings and applauding as Fulwiley has won the Freshman of the Year award for her exquisite performances in the 2023-24 season. What makes this news more interesting is that Fulwiley’s girlfriend, Jameesia Ford too has won the Freshman of the Year honors at the Gamecock Gala.

But before the announcement, the two did anticipate the outcome with Fulwiley giving a heart-touching message saying, “One of us for sure. If either one of us win, it’s a W for both of us,” speaking like a true athlete, while supporting Ford on her athletic endeavors.
