LSU’s Much-Awaited Clash vs No. 1 South Carolina Spike Ticket Prices Over Astounding Amount

The Louisiana State University Lady Tigers will lock horns with the South Carolina Gamecocks on Thursday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. While the Gamecocks have an undefeated 17-0 record going into the game, the LSU have an 18-2 tally.

The South Carolina occupy the first position in the AP women’s basketball polls whereas the LSU Lady Tigers are ranked at the ninth spot. The importance of the game, however, doesn’t end here.

What’s the hype about the game?

The Gamecocks are placed atop the table in the Southeastern Conference while the LSU are at the second spot. Thus, this game will provide more clarity about the prime contenders of the SEC.

The South Carolina had hammered the LSU by a blowout margin of 88-64 when they clashed in the NCAA 2022-23 season. And the LSU would be looking for redemption especially so because the match will take place in their own home court.

Apart from both the teams, the tickets are in so much demand because the game will feature some of the biggest superstars in the women’s college basketball.

What about the ticket price?

With soaring excitement for the match, the prices have also soared. As per Nola.com, the contest hasn’t been officially sold out but is expected to be one by the time the two teams clash against each other.

The tickets are available to be bought through the secondary market at fairly humongous prices. The LSU as per the same website has already done with its advance tickets.

The seats at SeatGeek in the upper-level sections can be purchased for as economically as $53, but for the 100-level sections, the prices have risen as high as $844 per piece. While on Monday, the prices at Vivid Seats were around $1000 each, they rose exponentially as on Tuesday the prices were mid $3,000.

The lowest-level tickets also touched the $3000 mark. StubHub too showed expensive tickets on Monday since they were priced over $1,000 on Monday.

The match will also be an exciting one since it will be one of the few opportunities for the LSU fans to witness a top-tier contest at home. Last year, the LSU had made it to the Finals and this contest will definitely add more lucidity to the chances of their campaign winning the title once again.
