LSU Tiger’s Angel Reese has become one of the most celebrated college athletes in the country today. Gaining popularity during the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s basketball tournament the 21-year-old has since then continued her meteoric rise even winning the Best Breakthrough Athlete Award during the ESPY’s this year. While Angel has become an integral part of the LSU team the 2023 season was her first in purple and gold as she initially suited up for the Maryland Terrapins during her freshman and sophomore years. Transferring to LSU in 2022 the 6’3 forward was able to win the NCAA title in her first year as she and her team defeated Catilin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeye’s in the title game with a score of 102-85.

Earning LSU their first ever women’s NCAA basketball title Reese was at first marred by journalists for her antics during the Final as she was seen taunting Iowa star Caitlin Clark during the game. While the two have since then disregarded any bad blood between them Reese recently sent an unexpected invite to her rival months after their Finals bust up.
