The month of March is the most exciting one for college basketball fans. The March Madness tournament always promises nail-biters, and it had a thriller last night too. The Baylor Bears faced the UConn Huskies in the Elite Eight in the women’s tournament, and NBA stars like LeBron James were also hooked.
It was an intense and close game that went down to the final buzzer. UConn came in as the favorites but were given a run for their money by Baylor. The exciting game had a controversial ending when the referees failed to call a foul on Huskies’ Aaliyah Edwards.

With just seconds left to go, Baylor were trailing by one. They gave the ball to Dijonai Carrington, who drove in before attempting a pull-up midrange shot. Edwards appeared to block the shot, but on closer inspection, it looked like a clear foul. But the refs didn’t call it, and that decided the result. The Huskies survived a scare and advanced to the Final Four with a one-point win.
LeBron James and other NBA stars also think it was a foul
