TCU is one of the leading programs this season. However, what makes it more powerful are the players who deliver a defining performance to win. One such example can be seen in #25 TCU’s Sedona Prince. The 6-foot-7 forward has been phenomenal in getting wins for TCU. She has been averaging 21 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 0.9 assists per game this season. Moreover, she has been shooting with a field goal percentage of 59.1%.
In the early commencing days of this season, Sedona scored a career-high 26 points in a matchup against Incarnate Word, showcasing her outstanding individual performance with TCU marking a strong opening 4-0 record.

In TCU’s recent matchup against Mount St. Mary, Sedona Prince scored 22 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks. Her performance led the Horned Frogs to grab another consecutive nonconference win, a 13-0 nonconference record. Moreover, the Frogs thrashed the Mountaineers and locked an 87-34 victory.
Interestingly, the matchup also marked Sedona’s 8th double-double in 12 outings. In addition, Sedona is one of the consistent players on the Horned Frogs roster who is delivering a double-digit score in every game she has played this season.
Currently part of the Big 12 conference, Sedona was previously playing for the Pac-12 Oregon Ducks. She was one of the tallest players to ever play for the University. Her national prominence came to light in 2021 when she took a step to highlight the disparity in facilities provided between men’s and women’s NCAA Tournaments. The reason behind this move, as it turns out, was that she had to sit out a season due to NCAA transfer rules. As a result, she was not allowed to compete in the 2019-2020 NCAA season because of that.
Sedona has represented the United States from time to time. She won bronze medals at the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and the 2016 FIBA U17 World Cup. Also, she won a gold medal at the 2018 FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship, and at the 2021 FIBA Ameri Cup held in San Juan. However, she broke her leg during a preliminary round game of the 2018 FIBA Championship, due to which she missed her true freshman season.
