“I’m proud of him that he took it upon himself to set a little business up for him and not wait for me or his mom to set it up. It’s like he’s doing himself.” Once, Carmelo Anthony couldn’t help but praise his son and his young entrepreneur journey. On the court, Kiyan Anthony will soon follow in his father’s footsteps at Syracuse. But off the court, he has already started applying business skills he learned at home.

In 2023, Kiyan, alongside his friend Jadyn, launched One Way Clothing, a “six-figure brand”. Now they have good news for those who are avid customers of the fashion brand as the duo dropped a new ad. “MARCH 29 & THE HARDEST SWEATSUITS ARE BACK AND BETTER – PREORDER (3-5 WEEK SHIPPING) – FIRST 5 ORDERS FULLY REFUNDED – COMMENT “🅿️” IF YOU READY 3/29/25 SATURDAY @3PM.”

The Sweatsuits are part of the series 1617 and come in different colors. For those curious about the meaning behind the ‘1617,’ these numbers represent the ages Kiyan and Jadyn were when they first founded One Way—Kiyan was 16, and Jadyn was 17. The colors available for purchase include Violetta, Michigan, Chrome Frost, Steel Cloud, Aqua Blaze, Crimson Kiss, and Coca. Now that we know about Kiyan Anthony’s brand, let’s look at his father’s thought process about the fashion industry.

In December 2022, 10x All-Star launched his brand STAYME7O. “Life has its moments, and through it all, I’ve tried to remain levelheaded and focused,” says Anthony. “Over time, the STAYME7OTM mindset was born. It’s now time to share that mindset with the world.” Based on the mindset, the current product available is all about the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Based on Olympic Melo, who was on the sideline and became the unofficial coach which helped the team regain the Gold.

Kiyan Anthony’s mindset to launch a brand was born out of boredom

In September 2024, the 18-year-old detailed his vision and idea behind his clothing brand on the Overtime reality series The Evolution. The answer was pretty simple: since he transferred to a new school, he wanted to work on something. “We was always into fashion. So we was like, ‘Why don’t we just try a clothing brand and we just did it?’” He further revealed how the brand has now captured a lot of hearts and sales!

“We went all out, put everything into it, and yeah, it’s where it’s at now—a six-figure brand.” The son of Carmelo Anthony also has plans to expand further to open up a store. Kiyan Anthony also has a potential influencer in his mind for the brand. “If I could have anybody in One Way, I would probably put a rapper like Lil Baby or like Drake in some One Way… I feel like one of those people had the brand on, it would definitely blow.”

Operating out of Harlem, One Way Clothing focuses on streetwear essentials—hoodies, T-shirts, and joggers. In a short time, the brand has reached over six figures and continues to grow. Truly following his dad, Carmelo Anthony’s multifaceted way to venture off-court success.
