Kevin Hart drops the ball again—Is he losing his touch or just too busy for promises?

Celebrities showing up at basketball games is nothing new, and comedian Kevin Hart is no exception. Known for his lively presence at NBA games, Hart has been spotted courtside quite often and brings a touch of humor to the audience. Last year, he even graced a college basketball game, though it didn’t quite go as smoothly as he might have hoped. Well, despite his entertaining appearances, it looks like Hart’s promises might not always hold up, as revealed by Flau’jae Johnson.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Flau’jae Johnson welcomed rising college star JuJu Watkins as her guest. The conversation turned to favorite celebrities who frequently make appearances courtside, and Watkins shared that comedian Kevin Hart is her top pick. While the LSU star agreed with Watkins’s pick and said ‘Hart is funny’, she also expressed her own disappointment with the actor.

“Kevin Hart is better than one. Kevin Hart, you said you were going to come to win the LSU game. So, I’m yeah, I’m on your neck, you about to come down to buy you no cap!” stated Johnson via Best of Both Worlds. Well, Johnson’s frustration is quite fair, especially since Hart had earlier attended a USC game featuring JuJu Watkins.

Kevin Hart grabbed headlines last December when he showed up at a USC women’s game. While attempting a free throw, he narrowly missed, but his real highlight was his humorous reaction to cover up that embarrassing moment. He played up a hamstring injury, clutching his leg and hilariously pretending to be hurt, much to the audience’s amusement.

Despite his comedic antics, Hart still hasn’t fulfilled his promise to Johnson. Meanwhile, Johnson also shared an exciting tidbit about another NBA legend who graced an NCAA game with his presence.

Flau’jae Johnson shares what happened when Shaquille O’Neal was in attendance

Flau’jae Johnson recently shared that NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal made a special appearance at an LSU game. Johnson recounted how she lived up to her promise, delivering a standout performance just as she had vowed to O’Neal before the game. “Shaq pulled up to the game that was crazy. I hit a crazy lay in front of Shaq. Oh my God! he was sitting right there, I was like ‘Hey Shaq, here I’m about to go stupid no cap!’ Oh man, I came down boom! It was against Kentucky, Boom Boom! I can’t laid them Shaq was right there” said Johnson.

The 20-year-old college guard scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds against the Kentucky Wildcats, which led LSU to claim a comfortable victory. Johnson also revealed what Shaq asked him as she said, “Shaq, he was like ‘yeah, well you ever you, ever like you ever go crazy’ like cuz I don’t know it just give me a little boost, like especially like when a legend there like you.”

Flau’jae Johnson had an impressive year with the LSU Tigers recently, where she averaged 14.9 points. While she already clinched the NCAA title in her freshman season in 2023, basketball isn’t her only passion. She has also made waves in the rap world, teaming up with big names like NLE Choppa and Lil Wayne. As an artist herself, Johnson hopes Kevin Hart will honor his promise and surprise fans by showing up at a future LSU game, potentially making amends for his past slip-ups.
