Is Kevin Hart attempting a free throw? It is indeed true. A sold-out Galen center was entertained as they witnessed the comedian and actor attempting something out of his league. There is no denying that he’s the type of guy that can make people laugh effortlessly and he was at it again.

However, he wasn’t planning to do it when he decided to hang out with his friends during USC’s clash against Cal State. Apparently, he was one of the many celebrities who are coming out to show their support to the USC’s women’s basketball team.

USC has been the team to beat in the Pac-12 Conference this season. The Trojans haven’t lost a single game in their entire campaign and were on an 8-0 unbeaten run in the competition so far. To no one’s surprise, the Trojans were dominating the game and led the Fullerton Titans 50-20 in the first half. During the break, Kevin Hart was asked to come onto the court and bury a free throw. Following this, the 44-year-old took no time to make his way to the hardwood and exhibit his basketball skills. The crowd was on their feet as he was getting ready to shoot.

Soon after, Hart got on his heels and launched the ball towards the basket. To everyone’s disappointment, he missed by a whisker. However, he did manage to break some laughter among the crowd. Immediately after the throw, he held on to his leg and indicated that he might have pulled a hamstring and that’s why he couldn’t land the ball accurately. Although, everyone in attendance reckoned it to be nothing more than a hilarious excuse.

Amidst all this off-court amusement, the Trojans came out victorious yet again.

The No.6 ranked Trojans further extended their winning streak as they decimated Cal State at home. In a totally one-sided encounter, USC completely blew away the Fullerton Titans 93-44 to secure their 9th win on the trot. Their start attraction, Juju Watkins gave another emphatic performance and was the standout player for them. She finished with night with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. In addition to this, McKenzie Forbes, Taylor Bigby, Kayla Padilla and Clarice Uche Akunwafo also made noteworthy contributions.

The fans are loving the way USC has been performing this season. The quality that head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has brought to the table is truly commendable. We will have to wait and see how successful this NCAA season turns out to be for them.
