The Jayhawks have found their leading scorer in their guard Kevin McCullar Jr. McCullar Jr. is averaging a whopping 20.4 points per game this season and has been a major factor behind the Kansas’s brilliant run. He has played more than 30 minutes in most of the games which is a testament to the responsibilities rested on him by the head coach Bill Self.
Another player to watch will be their center, Hunter Dickinson. Dickinson stands next to McCullar Jr. in terms of points with an astounding 18.5 points per game. He also has exceptional rebounding capabilities and leads his team in two departments – rebounds average and blocks average. He averages a double-double with 12.5 rebounds per game and 1.3 blocks per match.
This duo is one of the most lethal ones in the Kansas team and they will certainly play a major role if the Kansas are to win the game. Meanwhile, the Horned Frogs should make sure that they contain both the players and employ their best defensive strategies against them.
Meanwhile, for the Horned Frogs nothing could be compared to the dedication shown by their forward Emanuel Miller. Miller has been the team’s alpha with 16 points per game and 6 rebounds per match. He leads the Horned Frogs in both departments.

He was contained quite well in his last game against the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions and hence will be hungry enough to take the charge in this game and force the Jayhawks to commit errors.
Head to Head
As per The Kansas City Star, the home team leads the series against the TCU by a 25-4 margin. However, the last five games have proven to be somewhat equally competitive with the series edging in favor of the Bill Self team by a 3-2 margin. The KU would come into this game to redeem themselves of their loss last season when the TCU clobbered up their opponents by an 83-60 margin. This as per some critics also marked the Kansas’s third-worst home loss.

Prediction
The match will be a nail-biter considering both the teams will try to prove their dominance in the Big 12. The TCU will have to restrain the Kansas ballers from scoring if they are to win this. On the other hand, the Kansas would be looking to stand true to their AP Poll rankings and also redeem themselves from last season’s loss.
Overall, the game might swing in the Kansas’s favor but if the TCU are able to establish their dominance, it will be a big upset for the Kansas.
