The nation is obsessed with the college basketball stars. In the NCAA 2023-24, ballers cast their miracle on the American audiences and made a place for themselves in their hearts. For the first time, the NCAA women’s basketball Championship game had more viewers than their male counterparts. Even after the season ended, the fever for the NCAA has continued. And now Jay Z just dived into the fandom as the University of Southern California Trojans star JuJu Watkins gave a gift to the performer.

Watkins took to the social media networking platform Snapchat to share her experience of visiting Jay Z and his office. Surprisingly, the $2.5 billion net-worth rapper turned out to be a big follower of Trojans.

Watkins as told in the snaps gifted Jay Z and his team a jersey of USC along with a few magazines. “Wassup guys? So like the craziest thing just happened. I found out that Jay Z apparently a big…big fan which is insane to say but… so pulled enough to his office today and gave him a gift. Gave some jersey and magazines to him and his team. So crazy. Just stay tuned y’all,” Watkins stated.

The USC Trojans had a fairly good season this year. They had a 29-6 tally and were positioned at the second place in the Pac-12. Watkins was the highest scorer with an average of 27.1 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per contest. Surprisingly she was also the leader in steals and assists average with 3.3 assists per outing and 2.3 steals per contest.

Propelled by Watkin’s impressive performances, they advanced to the Elite Eight where they lost to the University of Connecticut Huskies by a 73-80 margin. Apart from Watkins, the other mainstay players for the Trojans were their guard McKenzie Forbes, and center Rayah Marshall. Forbes smoked 14.3 points per game and Marshall smashed 10.2 points per contest. Watkins who is just in her freshman year won all hearts with her astounding performances. And looks like Jay Z is not the Trojans’ only fan.

Celebrities adore JuJu Watkins & Co.

This year the Trojans had a lot of celebrities attending their second-round game against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Trojans won the game by a decent margin of 73-55 and had Lincoln Riley, Matt Leinart, Caleb Williams, John Wall, Isaiah Collier, Cheryl Miller, and Carol Folt in attendance. A host of stars celebrated the Trojans win that night.

Miller who had previously played for the Trojans also passed on a piece of advice from her experience to Watkins. She asked the emerging athlete to find her “quiet spot” away from the bustling noises of social media as per Trojans’ Wire. And sure by Watkins’ performance, it looks as if she followed that counsel.
