USC Trojans made a successful return after going down to Standford. Surprisingly, most predictions thought that USC will not be able to find their groove against Stanford, they have proven them wrong. However, the most needed win was not even the highlight of the game. While USC stood against Standford with 67-58, the most dominant player on the hardwood tonight was their No. 12 JuJu Watkins.
Apparently, the immaculate guard made a whopping 51 points in the game against Cameron Brink’s Cardinals. Not only was she the best player on the court tonight, but she also scored the NCAAW season-high against the opponents.

Everyone knew that tonight was going to be an amazing one. Undoubtedly, two giants of the women’s college basketball league come on the floor against each other to set the record clear for who is a better baller. Apparently, JuJu has already won ten PAC-12 Player of the Week awards as a fresher. On the other hand, Cameron Brink who is a senior forward for the Cardinals only has four of them in her accolades.

This time around, JuJu set the record for the highest USC single-game scoring record with this phenomenal performance. She bagged 51 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists. Additionally, she is now also the second most points in a game scoring player in Pac-12 history. Not to anyone’s surprise, this impactful baller scored a whopping 76% of the total score for her team. This is also the highest percentage scored by a player on the team in the last 25 seasons. It was the undeniably thrilling atmosphere in the Stanford Maples Pavillion. It was also a much-needed win for the Trojans to improve their ranking.
Additionally, getting the win on the record by bringing down the No. 4 Stanford was definitely one way to go.

While JuJu did bag the most points for USC tonight, her team also supported her immensely to get the Trojans ahead. The main scorer tonight from the roster was McKenzie Forbes with 12 points and 5 rebounds. She was joined by Rayah Marshall with 2 points and 6 rebounds. Along with them was Clarice Akunwafo with 2 points and 2 rebounds tonight.
Both JuJu and Cameron are incredible athletes and a clash between these two definitely gave the viewers a run for their money. However, USC is surely basking in this victory. They gave the Cardinals their first home loss and made quite a few records in its wake. Nevertheless, Stanford will again rise and continue its victory dance soon. Meanwhile, the Trojans team and fans can celebrate this big win.
