The world of baseball and even basketball to an extent, is in awe after witnessing the most staggering deal signed in MLB’s 118-year history by Juan Soto. The Dominican player signed a 15-year deal worth $765 million with the New York Mets. The 21-year-old rapper and college basketball player Flau’jae Johnson gave her take on the matter while forecasting her predictions on her future generations.

LSU’s guard mentioned on her YouTube channel, Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae, “Imma tell you what I think– I think if I had a kid, baby we are swinging baseball bats out the womb I tell you right there, catching gloves on baseball in hand a little hand-eye coordination yeah bro I’m not playing like 700 M? to play baseball and I already know my kid gonna be having amazing genes like superhuman athlete vibes.”

Well, Flau’jae isn’t wrong when her boyfriend is a star athlete himself. Chris Hilton Jr., her boyfriend, is on the football team playing for the LSU Tigers as a wide receiver. They even recently celebrated their one-month anniversary together, sharing it on social media and making their relationship official.

It isn’t wrong to say that her kid might actually turn out to be a superhuman athlete. However, Flau’jae assumed her child wouldn’t be in sports altogether. “But my kid, my luck would be like my kid would be one of those kids who just don’t want to play sports, just my luck like you know some kids they just be like nah, I don’t wanna do it and I be like, like let me tell you that I’m a big type person I’m not going to force my kid to play sports but I’m gonna nudge them.”

There have been numerous times in the past when athletes’ children weren’t interested in the sport, let alone playing in them. Who’s not aware of Marcus Jordan, who couldn’t carry the legacy of his father, Michael? However, what’s so absurd about the deal is that it took the sporting community by storm.

Juan Soto has been a prominent name in the field of baseball ever since he debuted in his teenage years (19). The Yankees let him go despite his exceptional performance this season. He scored a career-high 41 homers with a .989 OPS for the Yankees.

In the midst, the New York Mets found the generational hitter at a cost. Juan agreed to join the Mets on Sunday at $765 million for a tenure of 15 years, by far the largest timeline for a player in MLB’s history, surpassing even the likes of Shohei Ohtani, who was signed by the Dodgers last year for $700 million.

The deal gives Juan $75 million as a signing bonus, with a bonus opt-out clause after five seasons, with no deferred money. Something that the Ohtani deal had, that to 97%. With Juan joining the Mets, they will be eyeing the World Series contenders, something which they’ve been struggling to achieve throughout their existence.

With the whole sporting community in shock, Flau’jae Johnson would want her child to go into baseball, and who knows he might turn out to be a superhuman athlete and crack a billion-dollar deal in the future.
