Heading into what could be considered her pivotal year so far, Angel Reese is all set for the WNBA. The LSU Tigers forward who won the NCAA championship in 2022-23 is ready for the next step. She announced her decision in a glamorous way with the help of Vogue. “Of course, I like to do everything big, I didn’t want anything to be basic.” This was inspired by tennis great Serena Williams, who announced her retirement with Vogue.
The draft will feature the best of the best college athletes and one among them is Caitlin Clark. Reese and Clark have their fair share of battles on the court and the world is very much interested in their rivalry. WNBA could be another place where the two meet again and create some history.

Once again she is confirming that she is not in a relationship. Eagle-eyed fans have also noticed that Reese had deleted photos of vacation, and Christmas with her now ex-boyfriend. The 21-year-old officially has not stated any reason.
Who was Angel Reese’s ex?
Cam’Ron Fletcher is a guard for the Florida State Seminoles men’s basketball team. Fans wasted no time in calling them the power couple of basketball. Revealing the relationship, Reese appeared on the 1 Star Recruits podcast and said “Cam’Ron is my boyfriend, yes.” Further, she said, “We both play the same sport so we understand each other’s schedule. I think that also helps.”
In June of 2023, Reese announced the relationship, explaining how she had known Fletcher for the past 6 years, and considered him her friend first. While speaking to Women’s Health in her March/April cover interview, Reese spoke about how the relationship is not built on fame. “He’s really supportive, and I’ve known him for six years. He’s known me before all of this has happened, So it’s a genuine relationship and he understands me.”

Angel Reese’s next step
Before her March Madness game against Rice Owls, Reese told the world about her breakup via Instagram Live. “Yeah, I’m single,” Reese told her followers. “I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it. I do what’s best for me, that’s it. I’m the catch! Let’s not get it twisted.”
Reese will be considering that the WNBA draft and the WNBA season came at the right time. It was recently announced that Reese and Caitlin Clark will headline a list of 15 college players invited to the WNBA draft on Monday in Brooklyn. The event is going to be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Helping LSU win the NCAA championship in 2023 and continued great performances in 2023-204 is helping her stock, and she is predicted to be the first-round pick draftee at the WNBA draft.
