The NCAA season keeps the ball rolling on upcoming matches and what they might turn out to be for any one team. The recent one at hand is going to be between the Iowa State Hawkeyes and the MI State Spartans. The matchup is going to be held at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the home court of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

As for the Spartans, they too are going strong in their national championship endeavor. They hold an overall record of 11-2 and a conference record of 1-1. They are currently ranking 6th in the Big Ten. Their winning streak is moving currently at 4 games. Recently, they had a significant 98-87 win over Penn State. So far their only loss was against Creighton with a score of 69-83 in the Cancun Challenge.

Interestingly, the last time the two teams came face-to-face was on 18th January 2023, when the Hawkeyes thrashed the Spartans in a close final score of 84-81. Now, their upcoming and much-anticipated matchup on Wednesday is being entertained as a thrilling rematch.

Meanwhile, the Spartans are finding their success with guard Moira Joiner who has been averaging 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, shooting with a field goal percentage of 51.4%.
