Angel Reese finally makes her return to the Lady Tigers’ locker room after missing out on 4 consecutive games. The Bayou Barbie inspired a convincing 82-64 win over the No.9 ranked Virginia Tech at home. Soon after, Reese accompanied Mulkey in the post-game press conference.

Apparently, Reese was asked about the time she said that she needed Kim Mulkey in her life and if she feels the same way today. Answering the controversy about her rift with Mulkey, Angel said, “I’m gonna say it today, tomorrow, next year, to the day I go away. I’m at LSU because of Kim Mulkey and that’s how I feel.” After days of speculation, fans will be glad to see them on the same page and making their respective contributions to the team’s success. Furthermore, after LSU’s victory, both Kim and Reese were seen sharing the stage comfortably.
This is the first time Kim Mulkey and Angel Reese were seen together after Reese was benched in the second half against Kent State on November 14. Following this, both Reese and Mulkey have refused to comment on the rumors circulating about a possible rift between them. However, now it seems that there was nothing substantial in those rumors as both of them have no unresolved issues between them.

I’m just happy to be back and this place has been amazing.” Reese has been out of Mukley’s squad in LSU’s win against Southeastern Louisiana and Texas Southern. In addition to this, she didn’t travel with the team and was a no-show at the Cayman Islands Classic tournament.
