Hardly a day goes by when Iowa’s iconic No.22 Caitlin Clark doesn’t make headlines. Due to the generational talent she possesses, the NCAA’s All-Time Leading Scorer has become one of the most talked about athletes in the present times. This nationwide surge in her popularity has resulted in her getting some weighty attention from the entertainment sector as well. Recently, Clark received a whopping $5 million offer to participate in Ice Cube’s Big 3 league. However, a handful of conflicts have shown up before the story could develop further, according to the 54-year-old rapper.

The popular American personality was recently on The Pat McAfee Show to talk more about his recent social media antics. Along with shedding more light on the subject, host McAfee acknowledged his idea and called it ‘doable’. To this, Ice Cube replied, “Yeah it’s very doable. I think there’s one conflict. We can work around that.”

Apparently, there is one regular season game that both Big3 and the WNBA play on the same day and at the same time. However, the creative rapper has come up with a solution. The Big 3 is only played once a week. Hence, Ice Cube is more than happy to accommodate their games according to what suits Caitlin Clark the most.

Clearly, the Big 3 CEO is ready to do anything and everything to bring Clark to this co-ed game. Probably because while his league is quite popular, it does not have the magic that the No.22 brings to every arena. In fact, she was able to make another record with just two games after entering the March Madness.

Apart from bringing efficient victories to the Hawkeyes, their senior guard is also repeatedly making history with every game. In their matchup against West Virginia on Monday, she brought in a whopping 4.9 million viewers to ESPN. This marks her second battle in the 2024 March Madness as the most-viewed early-round game on record for college basketball, according to ESPN.

There is no doubt that not only will Clark bring major viewership for the Big 3 league but will also unfathomably enhance the very energy. While the 3-on-3 co-ed format may be a little different from her usual style, Clark should be able to handle that with ease as well. In fact, her father made sure that as a child she did something very similar.

Her family never stopped her from playing since they too come from a sporting background. There was a time when there was no girls’ league for Caitlin to play with. Her Dad Brent would take her to play in co-ed games and was her first coach. The ball is in Caitlin’s court, do you think she will send a positive response?
