Not many players can claim to have made an entire program rise from the ashes to relevancy. One such player is Hailey Van Lith. She has completely changed the fortunes of the TCU Horned Frogs. After making the shocking switch from LSU to TCU, Van Lith has not only revived her career but also helped revive the program. But this was always going to be her last dance in college basketball. Her WNBA journey starts next. Where could she be headed?

HVL led the Horned Frogs to their first conference tournament title since 2005. Not just that–she also took them to their first-ever Big 12 title game. Named tournament MVP, she guided TCU to their first-ever Sweet 16 appearance. But their upcoming game against Notre Dame will be a mountain to climb. Many believe this is where TCU’s magical run ends. It could very well be her last college basketball game. But her journey doesn’t stop here. The WNBA awaits.

According to the latest Yahoo WNBA mock draft, HVL could be in line for a reunion. According to the mock draft, Hailey could be selected as the number 10 pick by the Chicago Sky. A reunion with Angel Reese might be on the cards for the 23-year-old guard!

Despite playing together for just one season, Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith helped LSU achieve an impressive 31-6 record. They earned the number 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. But while the Tigers shined, Van Lith struggled. She failed to replicate the form she showcased at Louisville and was benched in the second round of the Big Dance. But that wasn’t all. She faced heavy criticism from fans after failing to match up against Caitlin Clark in the Elite Eight defeat and she eventually left.

But Van Lith and Reese stayed close. After Hailey won the Big 12 tournament, Reese was quick to show her support, commenting, “So proud of you sis! @haileyvanlith” on her Instagram post. The bond between them remained strong, and Reese was often seen as Hailey’s closest teammate throughout their time together.
