Co-host of the ‘Queens of the Court’ Podcast, Jordan I. Robinson posted a conversation with the 6 ft 4 in athlete she took a few months back. In the candid interview, Brink is seen talking about the different people who have influenced her college basketball. Soon after, she started talking about the impact of her mother on her game. She said, “My mom is totally a girly girl too. She really instilled that side in me. It’s kind of part of my meditation and routine every morning. Getting ready, doing my hair, doing my makeup. Look good, feel good, play good. I’m super thankful to my mom for letting me know that it’s okay to wear heels. It’s okay to put on lipstick. That’s who you are, you don’t have to be one thing.”

Cameron’s mom Michelle Bain-Brink has been a baller herself during her time at Virginia Tech. Sharing a room with basketball star Stephen Curry’s mom Sonya Curry, Michelle had a decent athletic career with the Hokies. Apparently, the Brinks and the Curries have been linked for quite some time.

Due to this ingrained sporting legacy, Brink has carried out her good form and is having a fantastic senior season at Stanford.

Cameron Brink has come a long way ever since she became a national champion as a freshman. The WBCA Defensive Player of the Year has embarked on yet another successful campaign for the Cardinals. She and Kiki are the only players in the locker room to have a double-double average. In the 17 games played so far, she is managing an average of 17.6 points per game along with grabbing 11.1 rebounds per game. In addition to this, she has the best field goal percentage jacking it up at 54.3%.

Cameron Brink is undoubtedly a special athlete. The lasting impact that she had at Stanford is unparalleled and her contributions have done wonders for the program’s overall success. Fans will be hoping she ends her NCAA career on a high by ending up winning her second national championship.
