What qualifies Brink for the honors?
Cameron Brink is now only the third conference player in history to collect both the Pac-12 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in one season. Moreover, Cameron Brink is the 20th Cardinal Player to win the Player of the Year accolade. Currently, she averages 17.9 points and 12 rebounds per game which are the fourth best overall and holds the second position in the Pac-12. Also, a total of 100 blocked shots in Pac-12 is the most by any player in the Pac-12.
Clearly, it was a celebratory night for the Brink and Curry family. With the Conference honors in the bag, the next target for Stanford will be to get the best out of the upcoming March Madness. Hopefully, Stanford fans will get to witness the same dominance next month.
