A marriage on the basketball court
The love story of Azzi Fudd’s parents began when they were both coaches at the Potomac School. It’s no surprise they exchanged vows on the basketball court after spending most of their lives on it. Wearing Nike Huaraches on their wedding, they rented the St. Joseph’s Catholic School gym on short notice.
Following this, the school accepted their request on the condition that nobody wear heels as it can damage the court. Azzi was three years old when her mother walked down the aisle. Further, Azzi has two brothers who are adopted — Jose and Jon.
