Angel Reese has amassed immense popularity within a short time. Ever since transferring to the Louisiana State University, Reese’s stature has grown leaps and bounds. May that be the reason why she is always in the news even when she might not want to. Recently, the 21-year-old gave an interview to the ‘Women’s Health Magazine’ where she discussed a variety of topics ranging from her personal life to the professional sphere.

Reese was interviewed by Amanda Lucci and the former opened up on the downside of being a celebrity. Reese’s response had all the fans sympathizing with her and understanding what goes on behind the scenes.

What did Reese say?

Shedding light on the issues Reese has to face because of the limelight, the Maryland-born took a dig at the people who have been guessing things about her life and do not shy away from spreading rumors. “If I pick up this cup and it has water in it, people think it’s tequila. If I’m speaking to a friend, a guy, people think we’re dating,” Reese stated as per Women’s Health Magazine.

The internet had gone into frenzy mode when she dropped hints of dating someone. Netizens made all kinds of wild guesses. It was later revealed by Reese herself that she was in a relationship with the Florida State Seminoles guard Cam’Ron Fletcher. It was then that people on social media stopped interfering in her life. A similar case happened when Reese took a break from basketball earlier this season.

There were a lot of noises surrounding her. People could only guess the possible reasons. Some speculated that it was due to her low grades that could not play for the LSU whereas others even questioned her attitude and thought it was because of some behavioural issues.

In the end, Reese came forward and put an end to all hearsay. She revealed that “My mental health is the most important before anything.”  However, this is not the only problem for Reese.

What other issues Reese has to tackle?

Reese further stated as per the same magazine that she would have wanted to go out with her teammates but can’t since “it’s just too much. It is overwhelming for me.” The NCAA sensation also acknowledged that “I can’t really enjoy myself how I want to enjoy myself and have fun how I want to have fun.”

Hopefully, now that it has come straight from Reese’s side, fans will stop interfering in her personal life and be considerate towards her before speculating and spreading rumors. Reese too can hopefully enjoy with her teammates and friends like she did when she was not a star.
