Two of the most standout athletes in Iowa’s sporting history, Caitlin Clark and Dallas Clark need no introduction. Both these players have been wonderful ambassadors of their respective sports. While Caitlin has been setting the court on fire with her exceptional balling skills, Dallas is a legendary figure in Iowa’s football locker room.
Given their similar surname, there have been numerous speculations arising as to whether they both share any familial bonds.
The common link between Caitlin and Dallas Clark

Although there is no blood relation between the two, they both share a common link and that is the city of Iowa. Caitlin and Dallas have been proud representatives of the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten. Furthermore, both of them had an illustrious career in Iowa’s college athletic program. Caitlin declared her commitment to the Hawkeyes in 2020 as a point guard. Consequently, she has won many awards and accolades. She was awarded the McDonald’s All-American in 2020 and also became Iowa Miss Basketball. Furthermore, she also won the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in after being the USBWA National Co-Freshman of 2021.
Similarly, Dallas was a prolific performer for Iowa as he joined the program back in 1999. Starting his career as a linebacker, Dallas wasn’t able to make any impact for the Hawkeyes in his opening season. Following this, he started playing in the tight end position. In 2001, Dallas caught 38 passes for 539 yards and had 4 touchdowns in his NCAA campaign. As a result, Clark had an honorable mention in the All-Big Ten Conference. Furthermore, his impeccable performances in all 13 games helped Iowa register their first undefeated conference season in almost 80 years. Moreover, in 2002, Dallas led Iowa to Big Ten glory and also won the John Mackey Award. Further, he was the unanimous pick for the first-team All-American.

However, there were still rumors and gossip trying to establish any sort of connection between them after they were seen together.

Caitlin Clark shares a special moment with Dallas and his daughter
Caitlin Clark and Dallas Clark both have had athletic backgrounds growing up. They even come from different states as Caitlin was born in Iowa whereas Dallas has been a native of South Dakota. Coincidently, in a video, they were both seen together at Iowa University once. The video features Caitlin showing various rings to Dallas and his daughter that she won after reaching the final four. Additionally, she also asked Dallas’ daughter if she wanted to try any of them for a picture.
There is no doubt that both these athletes are the cream of the crop in their respective sports. Although Dallas is enjoying his retirement time, he is still active in showing his support to the women ballers of Iowa. At the same time, Caitlin is tying up her shoes for her upcoming matches. It is worth watching how Caitlin gives a tough competition to her opponents.
