Stylist for Angel Reese, Madison Ledyard, is making a lot of noise in the celebrity world today. The young talent only started her fashion journey some time back. Since college, Maddie has been styling everyone from her close friends to celebrities. She stepped into the basketball world through her friend and WNBA star Zia Cooke.

It was during the WNBA 2023 draft last year that Madison Ledyard caught everyone’s attention through her work on the Sparks’ baller. Let us see how that event changed Madison’s life in an Essentially Sports exclusive with her.

Madison Ledyard owes it to the WNBA

Madison was extremely happy to answer Essentially Sports about her budding career after Angel Reese. In the same light, when we asked her, “With plenty of career years ahead of you, you’re already making noise in the fashion industry. What’s your journey so far?” She replied to it, “My journey has been such a huge lesson. I am a student-athlete turned wardrobe stylist. I’ve always been into fashion, it started back in middle school. I would always come to school with the flyest fits on. Once I graduated high school I decided to get my first ever retail job to expand my knowledge on fashion, and what fashion really meant to me.”

She continued telling us, “I started putting looks together for some local people in my hometown. I would put out crazy dope content of me putting looks together. And it just took off from there. I started styling some of the biggest businessmen, rappers, and businesswomen in my hometown.” She took her time to tell us about her interaction with Zia, “As I continued to build my portfolio, I received a text from my good friend Zia Cooke. It was about styling her for the WNBA draft. I knew my life was going to change after that one look.”
