The exclusive chat happened on Monday with Essentially Sports and gave an insight into the impact Reese has on her followers. Ledyard’s reply was a testament to the growing brand that Angel Reese is and how she has managed to establish herself as a pioneer in the fashion industry in addition to being a balling star.
“I think it’s amazing, Angel expresses herself in many ways but one of them is definitely her hair. She is showing many young girls around the world that they can do it all rather this limiting them to being in one box,” Ledyard opined.
Reese, who is famous for her hair extensions, was named as the brand ambassador for ‘Mielle Organics’ in May 2023. In her new role, she was given the responsibility of advocating for the brand’s products to her followers on social media networking sites – Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
Additionally, she was also roped in to do in-person events as per SI Lifestyle. Mielle’s founder and CEO Monique Rodriguez had expressed her delight in onboarding Reese by stating that it will help them “bridge the gap between sports and the beauty space,” as per Women’s Wear Daily (h/t: SI Lifestyle).
As per PR Newswire, Reese had then curated her own “Queen of the Court” hamper for the Mielle that was priced at $54.99 and featured some of the best Mielle products including shampoo, conditioner, gel, heat spray, oil, and a scarf.
