The projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft crafted a Monday night worth remembering for its fans. Flagg led a dominant outing for the Montverde Academy on the Mills Championship Court.

On a wild night, the No. 1 in the 2023-24 Preseason National Top 10 rammed through South Lake with a whopping 90-point victory margin.

The referee blew the final whistle with the scoreboard reading 118-28 to save the South Lake boys from further embarrassment. For those in attendance, it was an astonishing and crazy game of high-school basketball as Montverde kept on scoring. Moreover, the dominant display by the No.32 forward, Cooper Flagg just gave the preview of things to come for the Blue Devils. The 2022 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year displayed a tremendous exhibition of his all-around play that kept the crowd on its feet throughout the night.

The South Lake didn’t have an answer to Cooper’s elite athleticism, reaction time, and recovery in the game. Additionally, his passing or playmaking and tough shot-making ability further added to their woes. He displayed his star genes and a work ethic that kept him pushing for more. As a result, he inspired a one-sided result in favor of Montverde.
