The Iowa Hawkeyes point guard Caitlin Clark is on cloud nine after she got her team to play in the NCAA Championship Finals against the Louisiana State University Lady Tigers. Caitlin has been in focus ever since she did the ‘you can’t see me’ gesture after defeating Louisville in Elite Eight.

“Honestly the thing about myself is like I take a lot of pride in being able to do a lot of different things for my team and it’s something we need whether it’s rebounding, whether it’s assisting, whether it’s scoring. But if I had to pick one thing about my game – probably the logo threes and the long threes… Just fun, the crowd goes crazy. It happens in transition which the favorite part of my offence is… transition offence. I feel that’s something our team takes a lot of pride in. We really like to thrive… And really like the hardest time for defence to set in.”

Clark is a point guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA. In the first year itself, Clark led the NCAA Division 1 in scoring and averaged a whopping 26.6 points per game. She recently bagged the Naismith College Player of the Year award in 2023 and the James E. Sullivan Award.

Overall, she averages 27.8 points with 7.1 rebounds per contest and 8.6 assists per game. Having a well-rounded game, Clark is known for her aggressive play apart from her three-pointers and logo threes, similar to the NBA legend Stephen Curry.

As per Five Reasons Sports Network, Curry’s three-pointers are impossible to defend and he is also popular for his long-range shots named the Logo 3. As per basketball reference, With an average of 24.6 points per game, Curry has a three-point field goal percentage of 42.8%.

He is regarded as one of the best offensive players to grace the game and is often compared with LeBron James and Larry Bird for his scoring rate.

Meanwhile, the Iowa Hawkeyes lost the NCAA Finals against the Louisiana State University Lady Tigers by a decent margin at 85-102. However, with an astounding 30 points, Clark was the highest scorer of the Finals.
