Kentucky Wildcats’ regular season has ended. They played their last game against Tennessee Volunteers emerging victorious by an 85-81 margin. While their on-court exploits are going well, off the court it looks like they found the perfect teammate. Renowned rapper Drake was recently seen on Wildcats team cracking up fans with his amusing side.

Drake posted his two pictures on Instagram. The carousel had everyone laughing hysterically.

Drake can be seen sitting on a chair in Kentucky Wildcats’ campus. Part of numerous different memes, he was donning Wildcats tracksuit and sitting on one of the black chairs in the UK basketball room. He captioned that post: “Oh hell nah all my brothers left me.” The next image featured the famous meme where Drake is sitting with the entire team.

The reference is for the famous Drake’s meme: “He thinks he is on the team.” Since then a lot of different memers have posted on the internet regarding different versions of the same meme – sometimes featuring different sportspersons and even musicians. The original Drake meme features him sitting with the Kentucky Wildcats team with the captions – “Who inhibited my man blud” and “Bro thinks he’s on the team.”

Drake on numerous occasions has been spotted with Wildcats. One time he was also seen dressed up in the same Kentucky tracksuit and hooping with them during a practice session.

Since then, people have come to associate Drake with Wildcats. And hence the meme that surfaced on the internet takes a sly dig at the $250 million worth musician.

What’s Next for Wildcats?

Wildcats will be clashing in the quarterfinals with the winner from the Texas A&M and Ole Miss Rebels match. The quarterfinal is slated to take place on March 15. Wildcats have a 23-8 stat in the regular season and are ranked at the second position in the SEC. It will be interesting to see if they can justify their second place in the SEC tournament and progress to the finale. The last time Wildcats had won the conference tournament was in 2018.

While fans are cracking up over Drake’s antics, they’re looking forward to Kentucky’s next round of action. Looks like the rapper just added the right hype at the right time.
