Bronny James’ life has seen a lot of ups and downs in the past few months. From him not having a good season with the USC Trojans to his falling NIL value. Carrying the James family name is not an easy task. However, he truly unlocked his potential as he made his way through the NBA Draft Combine event. Following that, Los Angeles Clippers LL Star player revealed his favorite moments of the young star’s game.

Recently, ‘PG-13′ disclosed what things he admires about Bronny James’ skill set. Paul George made his case for why an NBA team should pick up the 6-ft-2 guard. He said, “I saw him play in the AAU. He just had an ability to get guys the ball, he had the ability to make guys better. Played such a controlled play. He doesn’t need to be a star.” George further complimented the 20-year-old guard by comparing him to two Celtics stars, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. According to the 34-year-old, he can play in different positions and help his team bag the game.

Talking about his Combine results, he added, “Before going into that (combine) he was, people saying that he might not even get drafted. Now, he’s 10 to 55 range. So, there’s some people in that mix that’s like ‘I’m taking him if he’s around.” According to the Clippers star, basketball runs in his genes, given his basketball IQ, ball control, etc. Paul couldn’t help but heap praises on the young James.

However, after all that praise, the question that arises is, how is Bronny James doing in the NBA mock drafts?

Bronny James in the NBA

Previously, there were some rumors about the Los Angeles Lakers probably getting Bronny James into their locker room outside of the draft. However, after the NBA Draft Combine event, many analysts are putting Bronny James in the top 10 to 55 spots. ESPN has him at the 54th pick. According to this, he might end up playing for the Boston Celtics. While his athleticism is quite remarkable, many do not consider his size at the height of 6-ft-2 the best for the NBA. Moreover, the league’s official website mentions that his lack of college experience in the sport may put him in the NBA G-League to develop his game and physical attributes accordingly.

So far, many did not even consider Bronny James to be a draft pick. However, his brilliant displays at the Combine have surely won the hearts of many. Before Reed Sheppard, a fellow top 2 pick in this year’s draft, took the throne with his surprising 42-inch horizontal leap, James had everyone’s attention with a 40.5-inch leap.
