The Drake men’s basketball team has been successful in recent seasons, thanks in part to the contributions of Tucker DeVries, a rising junior. After playing for two seasons, DeVries’ impact on the team convinced the Missouri Valley Conference that the Bulldogs are championship contenders every year. Tucker finished the season with an average of 18.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a 3-point shooting percentage of .373 in 34 games.

Basketball analysts have often compared Tucker DeVries to Luka Doncic, a Slovenian native who has been making waves in the NBA with his impressive gameplay.
