The 21-year-old can be seen sharing the screen with NBA stars namely Jamal Murray, Kawhi Leonard, Tyrese Maxey, Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, Aaron Nesmith and Darius Bazley. In the ad, Brink can be seen trying to tackle and get the ball. Once she receives an assist she also jumps and scores a few points. All the basketball stars can be seen enjoying themselves while having a friendly match. The ad’s mood is lightened by rock music that plays in the background.

Earlier when New Balance had signed the NCAA 2021 champion, she had expressed her gratitude and also pointed out the importance of the deal. “I am honored and excited to join forces with New Balance,” Brink said in a statement as per FN.

“Their ability to empower athletes perfectly aligns with my own values, and I look forward to this journey with them. I hope we inspire athletes around the world to fearlessly pursue their dreams.”

The move came as a surprise since even though Brink is regarded as Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry‘s godsister, she had snubbed $3.1B brand Under Armour. For the unversed, Under Armour was endorsed by Steph Curry and hence Cameron’s unexpected move paved the way for future women basketball athletes.

Apart from New Balance, the Princeton-born hooper has also contracted NIL deals with other conglomerates including Buick, Chegg, Celsius, Urban Outfitters and Hyperice. NIL deals have gained a lot of prominence since their induction as they allow athletes to cash in on and beyond their talent.

How has Brink’s career been so far

Brink made her debut at Stanford in 2020 as a college fresher. She was named to the All-Tournament Team after Standford won the Pac-12 Tournament. In her sophomore year, Brink got the opportunity to captain her team along with Haley Jones. She also won the NCAA 2021 title along with being named as WBCA 2023 Defensive Player of the Year and winning the 2023 FIBA World Cup 3X3 MVP.
