If you are in Bronny James’ shoes, you might feel how hard it is to be in the limelight without even a word spoken, and rightly so, he has been through a lot this week. The Lakers rookie has been under fire from Stephen A. Smith and things went so far that LeBron James publicly confronted the analyst asking him to stay away. The crowd got divided, some coming to Bronny’s aid, while others criticized him and his father. However, the week wasn’t all bad for the family, as younger brother Bryce James accomplished something to be proud of!

After scintillating victories over Santa Barbara and JSerra Catholic this week, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers dominated the CIF regional championship game against Redondo Union too. They had a confident 74-68 win against the visiting Seahawks, but the road to victory wasn’t easy.

An 18-15 first-quarter lead for the Redondo Union Seahawks put Sierra Canyon on high alert. But Bryce James’ team found another gear, responding with a 22pt second quarter, eventually taking home the W. It was a happy occasion for Bryce and his family after a very tough week, and his brother was there to enjoy it with him! Finally, something to cheer for the James family as Lebron James continues to be out due to injury.

It wasn’t just a special occasion for the James brothers, however, as Sierra Canyon cheerleaders, Jessie and D’Lila Combs were ‘here for cheer’! The twins were captured in a photo by Quincy, cheering on their high-school basketball team. Moreover, a video surfaced online of Sierra Canyon’s post-game celebrations, showing the Combs twins partying with the team.

In the same video, we could see Bronny rooting for his brother and his alma mater! He was seen leaving the game with his girlfriend after their victory. Considering the kind of week he has been having, and the questions about his mental health, it was nice to see him taking a day off. It’s not easy being a rookie in the league. And it’s definitely not easy to be dealing with drama so early on either. That too for no fault of his!

Bronny’s character and resilience are reflected in how he’s handling the spotlight. The Lakers rookie is right there for his younger brother, and he’s not letting the chit-chat get to him. The youngest, James, made his entire family proud amidst a dark time. But how did Savannah James react to his accomplishment?

LeBron James and his wife are big on the family, that’s no secret. The high-school sweethearts have been loving and active parents, even while pursuing greatness on the court! Not to mention, they’re big on their kids carving their paths in the world. Regardless of what Bryce or Bronny choose to do, their parents will support them and celebrate them till the very end.

As Savannah James got hyped about her son’s regional championship, she took to social media to celebrate the victory, reposting a BR post on her IG story. “We going to the ship!!!” she wrote, all claps now, as they head towards a state title. The Trailblazers will now be competing against Stockton Lincoln on Friday for a shot at the state championship, and she can’t wait! Oh, who can?

Even though Bryce James didn’t have a great game against Redondo Union, his mom was still in his corner. The six-foot-six Arizona commit has all the tools required to play at the pro level, but he lacks the experience. While he might not be ready for the pros just yet, there’s no doubt that he’s headed in the right direction. Bryce James will walk into Golden 1 Center on Friday with hopes of winning a state title. What do you think? Will the Sierra Canyon team defeat Stockton Lincoln? Or will they fall short? Only time will tell.
