Caitlin Clark is called the female ‘Stephen Curry‘ for a reason. The senior guard has built quite a reputation for herself from beyond the arc. The leading scorer in college basketball history has set some very high offensive standards. But it’s her exceptional control over her Logo threes that mainly sets her apart in her tribe.
Over the years, Clark’s perfection in landing those long-range bombs has mesmerized millions. One just can’t help but admire this immaculate talent of hers and it looks like it caught the attention of another iconic figure in the women’s basketball world.
ESPN WNBA and college basketball analyst and Basketball Hall of Famer Rebecca Lobo was the latest in a long line of sports personalities in awe of Clark’s impeccable talent. While talking to Brandon Contes, she wholeheartedly acknowledged what the 6 ft guard brings to the table. She said, “What’s interesting is like we have Sabrina Ionescu, we’ve had Diana Taurasi for years who have ranged out to 25 feet. But, we haven’t ever had a player like Caitlin who comes down and consistently just takes 25 to 30 footers like it’s just part of her game and does it at a pretty high percentage.”

What else does Caitlin Clark need to do to achieve greatness?
Former national championship with the Blue Devils, Jay Williams believes that greatness does not depend on individual honors. He had a slightly different opinion on Clark’s greatness: “I think the way she plays, the pizzazz, is, she’s probably the most prolific scorer the game of basketball has ever seen. I am unwilling … to say that she is great yet. I’m not saying that she’s not at a high, high, high level. But, for it to go to the states of immortality in my opinion, it has to culminate with your team winning a championship.”
While many believe Caitlin Clark is the cream of the crop in women’s basketball, others have their own parameters for reaching that merit. Nonetheless, the manner in which she has structured her career is truly commendable. Still, fans will be hoping she makes the most of her senior campaign and ends her career with an NCAA title.
